FAQ

WHAT ARE PRESS-ON NAILS?

Press-on nails are salon-like nails that can be done at home. They offer instant results with no long-term commitment. They are ideal for those short on time and who cannot commit to a single style or colour for an extended period of time.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY SET?

• 10 press-on nails included
• Sticky glue
• 24 adhesive tabs
• Cuticle pusher to refine your manicure + Cuticle Oil
• Nail file and buffer for final touches
• Alcohol Pads

GLUE OR ADHESIVE TABS?

Glue is designed for wearing nails for longer periods of time and is stronger than adhesive tabs. Adhesive tabs are best for short-term wear, but is proven to last up to 2 weeks of wear.

HOW CAN I ENSURE THE SIZE IS CORRECT?

Please go to the "Find My Size" page located in our top menu, where you'll find detailed instructions on how to accurately measure your nails.

HOW DO YOU APPLY PRESS ON NAILS?

  1. Begin by applying the nails to clean, dry natural nails. If your nail beds tend to be oily, lightly buff them with the nail filer.
  2. Use the cuticle pusher to gently push back your cuticles.
  3. Clean your nails with the alcohol prep pads.
  4. Organise your nails by size and lay them out in order; this step makes the application process smoother.
  5. Apply a pear-sized dot of glue to each nail and distribute it evenly, avoiding getting too close to your skin, as it may spread under pressure.
  6. Align your press on nails just below your cuticle. Press down firmly and hold for 30 seconds.
  7. Alternatively, use the adhesive stickers by sticking them on each nail and cutting to fit your nail size. Apply the nail and press down firmly. Adhesive stickers are best to use for short term wear.

TIP: Avoid exposing your nails to water for at least an hour after application.

HOW DO YOU REMOVE PRESS ON NAILS?

  1. Begin by soaking your nails in warm, soapy water for approximately 15 minutes. Depending on your application method, they may require less time
  2. To check if they are ready to come off, gently lift the side of the nail using the cuticle pusher. If it's ready, it will come off easily. Do not force or pull it off, as this could potentially damage your natural nails and affect your ability to reuse the set.
  3. If there is any residual glue left behind, apply acetone to the affected nails and allow it to sit for a few minutes to soften the glue. Then, gently buff off the residue.

Select the nail shape of your choice!

Choosing the perfect nail shape can make a significant difference in the overall look of your manicure. Each nail shape has its unique appeal, and it's essential to select one that complements your style and personality.

Here's a guide to help you pick the ideal nail shape:

  1. Oval Nails: Oval nails are a classic choice. They have softly rounded tips and elongate your fingers, giving a more feminine and elegant look.
  2. Round Nails: Round nails are simple and timeless. They're easy to maintain and offer a natural appearance.
  3. Square Nails: Square nails have flat, straight-across tips, creating a modern and edgy look. They're also great for those who prefer short nails.
  4. Almond Nails: Almond nails are tapered and come to a point, resembling the shape of an almond. They provide a sophisticated and delicate appearance.
  5. Stiletto Nails: Stiletto nails are long and pointed, mimicking the shape of a stiletto heel. They're bold and attention-grabbing.
  6. Coffin Nails: Coffin nails, also known as ballerina nails, are tapered but squared off at the tips. They are trendy and can be both elegant and edgy.

Remember that your choice of nail shape should align with your personal style, the occasion, and your comfort level. It's also essential to consider your nail length and the maintenance involved, as some shapes may require more upkeep than others.
